ACCUR8 DWS7100 7-in-1 Complete WiFi Weather Station incl UV Level, Weather Alerts & Mobile Phone Link - Solar-Powered

I have had it in its box for a while but finally took the old none working one down and put up this one.

Setting it up on my Wi-Fi and Weathercloud was difficult, but it is now set up and doing well. Insturctions were vague and it took me ages (days) to get the Remote Sensor info showing on the console. I was on YouTube doing research for setting it up.

Set up reasonably straightforward however connecting to weather websites was a challenge. Instructions and videos required strong interpretation. However so far excited and pleased with the weather station.

Well packaged, easy to set up. Best to watch the supplied video for WiFi set-up. Screen could do with lower brightness at night, but I can live with it. Seems to work very well.
Would recommend without hesitation.

I am not very good at DIY, but I found it very easy to put up. It was easy to put together and attached to the summerhouse. It was easy to connect to Weather Cloud and Wunderground.
The indoor screen is very clear and full of great information. The sensors were easy to add to the system. I have one in the loft and one in the summerhouse

So after a few years of good service, it was time to replace my Watson W-8681 weather station. Having done a little research, and it is quite difficult to compare different makes and models unless you know what you are looking for, I decided on the ACCUR8 DWS7100 7-in-1 Complete Solar-Powered WiFi Weather Station. What a great choice! Very easy to assemble and set up physically plus the connecting of wifi and to the internet ( I subscribe to WeatherCloud ) was again very straightforward and all worked 1st time. The one potential issue I found was my temperature readings were quite different (overstated ) to the many other stations logged onto WeatheCloud for my area so after a few days I decided to recalibrate and bring my readings down to the average of all of the others. Again, following the instructions the recalibration was a very simple process. Overall, very pleased with the unit, can't really fault it at all .. Does exactly what it says on the packaging! Next step will be to add a couple of additional in-door sensors to it. One for the wish list, it would be great to be able to add additional displays. Whether your 1st weather station or just an upgrade/change, I can highly recommend it.

So far so good. The access to the two weather sites is also great. Very happy.

So far the unit is operating well. The information is displayed nicel on the indoor screen. Sometimes the blue and green colours are hard to read during sunny days. Not sure if there is an option to change the colours to suit different eyes. I havent found the Weather alerts yet but will find out how to setthem up if thats what needs to be done. Have downloaded one of the suggested phone links and that is good for remote checking. Just have to decide if it is worthy of paying a monthly subscription. A one off payment might be more desirable. so far seems good value.

My husband was very pleased with his weather station as I bought it for him for his recent birthday as his other one packed up this summer and he loves his weather stations very impressed with it

Nice display. Covers all the areas needed, with ability to change some parameters and an additional remote sensor (or option for several). Minor areas for possible improvement are an ability to display maximum and minimum values for eg temperature all the time. I found the rain gauge would occasionally display a false value - but easily cleared. The range between sensors and display is good, even works through a couple of thick house walls.

Very pleased with my new DWS7100, an upgrade from my DWS5100 which I've had for some time.
I found that removing the rain collector could be difficult when about 2m up a pole; discovered that a thin smear of vaseline made it easier. I've done this to the new unit already. I initially conected all the pole pieces as instructed, but foud that it was very difficult to remove the unit from the foot mounting. A light rub with fine grit paper and a smear of vaseline works well, as does omitting the bottom bolt in the pole.
I was expecting to have to junk my old unit, but much to my surprise the old display picked up from the new transmitter and is now usefully employed in the study. (The new unit is in the kitchen).

An excellent bit of kit. Only time will tell whether it lasts. I hope so because it's mounted on the end of a long pole on the ridge of a high roof and climbing up laddders isn't going to get any easier. Loads of data collected and dispayed on the colorful screen which satisfies my inner weather geek.

I received this as a birthday present from my husband (who knows me well!). As this is my third weather station in the last 12 years, I have high hopes for it after being let down by the previous two. So far so good. It gives me all the information that I like to know on the display and combined with Weathercloud I can keep an eye on it away from home too.

Nice easy to use weather station with easy set up. Highly recommend

Delighted with the weather station, it provides masses of data, in our case connected to weathercloud.

Excellent piece of kit.
Was worried about the set-up but after watching the video a couple of times and many re-reads of the instructions it was reasonably easy.
Started with creating a Weathercloud account and then connecting the hub, couldn't get Weathercloud to link with the station so started again. This time I set up a Wunderground account and reconnected the hub. by the time I had made a cup of tea the magic e symbol appeared on the monitor and I was in business.
Has worked perfectly since the set-up, am very happy with the product.

A good weather station, easy to setup , a lot of people seemed to have trouble with the WiFi but I had no problem, perhaps the instructions have changed. Good display , still not sure if understand everything , I need to investigate the display options more , I feel there is more I can see .

Device setup is not straightforward and the instructions provided are poorly laid out. There is also a lack of technical support information as to how the device functions and how to access certain functions

Bought for an xmas present for someone getting in to weather monitering. Works great and easy to set up they are very happy.

Does the job but the dispaly is horrendous. jumbled up and horrible colours. Not the fault of the product but the apps you can use like weathercloud and Wunderstation are hard to set up and pretty poor. I wanted to see live datat on my phone which is why I bought a station with WiFi capability but I wonder why I bothered. Beware.

Very easy to set up, connection to the internet is another story but I'll succeed eventually.

I found it very difficult to set up but now I have mastered it and linked it to my phone I am delighted

Good product the instructions for WiFi connection are so small you can hardly read them.
Would be nice if it had its own App as connecting to Wunderground has defeated me due to the tiny print.
Nice clear screen the rainfall is a bit odd only shows by the hour and you have to go on line or scroll through for the days total.
Overall good product but could be so much better with an easy to connect App.

Quality product

Excellent weather station. Good bright clear display. Setting up the WiFi connection is a real pain. Thought that the manual was confusing in this respect. The video was better. Not keen on the 433.92MHz link frequency. In Amateur radio band. Could loose connection with it if powerful transmitter nearby.
